CURRUCULUM COORDINATOR

Position Overview

She Became is seeking a passionate and experienced individual to join our team as a volunteer Curriculum Coordinator. The Curriculum Coordinator will play a crucial role in shaping our school sessions, working closely with School Coordinators and student mentors to ensure that our curriculum aligns with our organizational mission and values.

Responsibilities

• Commit an estimated 5 hours per week to completing position tasks.

• Collaborate with School Coordinators and mentors to develop meeting programs that effectively address students' needs and align with our organizational mission.

• Stay informed about the latest educational trends and research to inform curriculum development decisions that support our mission.

• Provide guidance and support to School Coordinators and student mentors in implementing curriculum initiatives that empower girls and promote gender equity.

• Monitor and assess the effectiveness of curriculum programs, making adjustments as needed to ensure they align with our mission and contribute to the growth and development of our girls.

• Foster a culture of confidence, leadership, and empowerment among our girls through the design and implementation of innovative and engaging curriculum activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.

• Experience in curriculum development or instructional design.

• Strong understanding of educational principles and best practices that support the empowerment of girls.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively work with diverse collaborators.

• Demonstrated commitment to our organizational mission of inspiring confidence in young girls and championing gender equality.

• Ability to innovate and think creatively in designing curriculum activities that promote leadership and empowerment among our girls.
