Allison Hemingway (she/her)
Local Partnerships & Individual Gifts
She Became Responsibilities: Allison supports the mission by managing and coordinating sponsorship activities. Her role includes identifying potential sponsors, building relationships, securing sponsorship agreements, and ensuring successful execution of sponsorship programs. She collaborates with the marketing and event teams to maximize sponsorship opportunities and help advance She Became’s mission of empowering young girls.

Education: B.A. Film & Communication, Purdue University
Personal Interests: Outside of work and volunteering, Allison loves any outdoor activities, and is always down for hiking, camping, paddle boarding, kayaking, and her all time favorite: rollerblading. Locally, she is involved in the Chicago reading, music, and brewery communities (reach out for any recs). Beyond the city, she loves to travel and will happily swap stories & recommendations.
FLMP Fort Thomas Advisor
She Became Responsibilities: As FLMP Fort Thomas Advisor Whitney ensures that the Fort Thomas, KY chapter meets the same standards as chapters throughout the region. She is responsible for developing effective mentors and nurturing the relationships between the mentors and mentees. Her main priority is that each student who participates in She Became receives a quality and enriching experience.
Professional Job: School Counselor in Fort Thomas Independent Schools
Education: BS in Radio/Television/Film from Northwestern University. MFA in Playwriting from UCLA, MSW from Colorado State University.
Personal Interests: Reading, traveling, spending time with family and friends, gardening and decorating.

She Became Responsibilities: Mary joined She Became in July 2024 as the lead photographer. She attends school sessions, fundraisers, and any event good for a photo op!

Personal Interests: Mary can always be found at a local concert or trying out new restaurants. She loves reading, biking along the lake, heading home to the jersey shore, cooking with friends and of course the Philadelphia Eagles.

Teen Advisory Board Coordinator
She Became Responsibilities: Amy is responsible for guiding and leading the teen advisory board (made up of mentors and teens who want to be involved with She Became) in professional and leadership development skills.
Professional Job: Senior Account Manager At Zeta Global
Education: Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Northern Illinois University
Personal Interests: Amy lives in Humboldt Park with her partner and her dog Hoss. She’s a huge concert goer and loves the smaller venues in Chicago and loves reading. Last year she read 60 books. Amy also loves traveling and loves visiting new places abroad to explore and enjoy the food and culture.

Videographer
She Became Responsibilities: Jazmin joined She Became in July of 2024 as a Videographer. She films fundraisers, events and classroom sessions, while crafting and editing video content for She Became.

Education: BA in Cinema and Television Arts and Communication Design with a minor in International and Global Studies from Elon University
Personal Interests: Outside of She Became, Jazmin enjoys traveling, running, attending sporting events, and spending time with friends and family.

Personal Interests: Arin loves spending time with friends/ family and traveling. She also loves being outdoors and enjoys hiking and skiing.
Kelly Biladeau (she/her)
Future Leaders Mentorship Coordinator, Chicago
She Became Responsibilities: Kelly is responsible for sourcing guest speakers for the program. She ensures that the organization’s events are engaging, inclusive, and impactful for English-speaking participants. Through her efforts, Kelly helps create a welcoming space where participants feel supported and empowered.
Professional Job: Social Media Buyer at Basis Technologies
Education: Bachelor of Business Administration at the University of Notre Dame, Major in Marketing from the Mendoza Business School, Minor in Sociology.
Personal Interests: Kelly is an avid runner, currently working towards her goal of completing 10 half marathons before turning 30. Outside of running, she’s an enthusiastic reader. Kelly also loves to travel, exploring new places and experiencing different cultures whenever she can.

Personal Interests: Outside of She Became, Katie loves exploring new cuisines as a dedicated foodie and is constantly looking to book her next trip.
