At She Became, we help girls build confidence, explore their interests, and begin to imagine what’s possible for their future. Through mentorship, leadership development, and exposure to new opportunities, they start to see themselves in spaces they may not have considered before.
As they grow, that foundation becomes even more important. Confidence, mentorship, leadership experiences, and community support remain central to our work, and we also recognize that girls need access to the resources and opportunities that help them take their next steps.
The She Became Scholarship Fund builds on this work by extending support at critical moments in a girl’s journey. It is open to girls both within and beyond our programs, ensuring that more students have access to the resources they need as they move forward. From academic support to post-high school preparation and enrichment opportunities, the fund helps remove barriers so girls can continue pursuing their goals with clarity, support, and belief in what comes next.
The She Became Scholarship Fund provides targeted support at key moments, ensuring students have the resources to move forward with confidence and clarity.
Funding is directed across three core areas:
Academic
Provides financial support to help students pursue college, trade school, or other accredited programs, reducing financial barriers and increasing access to continued education.
Pathways
Covers key costs that support students as they navigate their next steps, including test prep, application fees, and other resources needed to achieve their goals.
Experiences
Funds extracurriculars, camps, and hands-on opportunities that allow students to explore their interests, build skills, and grow their confidence.

We’ve seen firsthand what happens when girls are given the opportunity to explore their interests and build confidence early on.
