SPONSORSHIP COORDINATOR

This is a volunteer, part-time position. Estimated time commitment is approximately 5-7 hours per week, with flexibility based on project timelines.

Position Overview:
The Sponsorship Coordinator will support She Became’s mission by managing and coordinating sponsorship activities. This volunteer role involves identifying potential sponsors, building relationships, securing sponsorship agreements, and ensuring successful execution of sponsorship programs. The Sponsorship Coordinator will collaborate with the marketing and event teams to maximize sponsorship opportunities and help advance She Became’s mission of empowering young girls.
Key Responsibilities:
Research and identify sponsorship opportunities aligned with She Became’s mission.
Build and maintain relationships with current and prospective sponsors as the main point of contact.
Develop and present sponsorship proposals that align with sponsor goals and organizational needs.
Negotiate sponsorship agreements, including terms and timelines.
Ensure sponsorship commitments are met by coordinating activities with internal teams.
Collaborate on the integration of sponsorships into events, communications, and marketing materials.
Identify opportunities for renewing or expanding sponsorship agreements for long-term relationships.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
Passion for She Became’s mission to empower girls and support youth development.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in the nonprofit sector, particularly with youth programs or education-focused initiatives.
Familiarity with sponsorship trends in events and marketing.
